"Sometimes the tears don't come," is what they always say,
But, somehow I know that I should be crying today.
The smiling face you greet me with is no longer existing,
Only in my memories, which, at times, go missing.
Your mistakes, which lead to this, are often told to me,
Telling me how I should live, and what I should not be.
I won't repeat what you have done because I know you would not want me to
Repeat the same stupid mistakes, or do the same things you do.
I will be strong because I cannot cry,
Though someone I truly loved has died.
I will live one day at a time,
Knowing that you are always by my side.
I will live...
I will love...
I will laugh...
...For you.

For one, this is a poem that I didn't write down first and then just transfer here. I went to dA, opened the "Add Text" box and just sat there and typed. It seems random, I know. I wrote because I was really depressed and I just couldn't bawl my eyes out like some people do. Writing things and playing music seems to be the only way I can ever express my feelings, it seems, without really talking to somebody.
But really, this isn't even a poem though...it's more of a paragraph-poem thing..hm.
So, sorry if this depresses anybody.
